According to the latest news from Chengdu Customs, Yongming and his twin daughters arrived at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 23:10 today after leaving Kansai Airport in Osaka, Japan. The pandas will be sent to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding for a one-month quarantine period after their return in a closed loop. Yongming was born at the Beijing Zoo in 1992 and moved to Japan in 1994 for the Sino-Japanese cooperative breeding research. Wing Ming fathered six children with Mei Mei and 10 more with Liang Bang, making it a total of 16 pandas. The panda twin sisters Sakura and Tao Hin, who were born in 2014, are 8 years old.
